I draw gryphons not often. Here's an selfcreated exemplar. I hope you like him! :) It's seems to be something doglike kind of a gryphon, in my opinion.

gimp? Mit tablet oder ohne? hatte als ich das mal mit meinem tablet getestet habe voll die probleme unter windows. wollte sich meine tablet einstellungen net merken und hat beim beenden und speichern der einstellungen immer seine konfigurationsdatein zerschossen und ist daran beim starten immer fast gestorben :(

Ja, Windoof macht da reichlich oft Probleme. Kann davon auch bereits mehrfach ein Lied singen ... -.- Erst letztens hat's mir eine komplette Datei zerschossen, bei der ich schon ziemlich weit voran gekommen war (War ein kleiner Comic!). Die ging nicht mehr zu öffnen - 6 Stunden Arbeit waren völlig umsonst! Klar hatte/habe ich danach nun erstmal keinen Bock mehr auf den Comic ...

Diesen Greifen habe ich mit Grafiktablett gezeichnet. Das Ding ist für mich, in Sachen PC-Kolos, mittlerweile unverzichtbar geworden. :D

Oh ja .... Windows Vista sei dank hab ich schon ca 5 Bilder verloren ... da verging mir dann die lust aufs zeichnen ... kenn das also zu genüge. Das nächste was ich gemacht habe war Vista töten und XP zu installieren ;)

*Tablet-PC und Wacom Cintiq knuddel* Ich liebe Wacom (tablet pc hat auch Wacom Tech ;) ), nie wieder ohne Tablet! Echtes Papier hat leider keinen Rückgänig Button *g*

Och, ich bevorzuge aber dennoch das traditionelle Medium immernoch am meisten. ^^ Obschon so ein Grafiktablett natürlich auch megaklasse ist, aber ich merke ganz eindeutig, dass mir Traditionelles immernoch am meisten liegt.

Ist wirklih schön. MIr gefällt das Fell sehr gut... wie hast du das gemacht?

Das der ein wenig hundeähnlich aussieht finde ich gar nicht schlimm... immerhin ist es dein Greif.
Das Lila im Fell und die Hinterpfoten finde ich allerdings auf den ersten Blick ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Das Fell habe ich mit Hilfe meines Grafiktabletts und des supercoolen Tools "Wischfinger" gemacht, den es sowohl in GIMP als auch in Photoshop gibt. Mit dem kann man echt überzeugende Fell- bzw. Haarstrukturen machen. So richtig gut klappt das allerdings auch nur, wenn man's mit Grafiktablett macht.
Und das Hundeähnliche war auch Absicht; vor allem wenn man sich seinen hinteren Körper anschaut und wie er die Zunge hechelnd heraus streckt. ^^

Wow, those are some wicked talons on the front claws.

I agree, he is rather dog like. It's the tail I think. 'Cause usually gryphons have lion tails, long and thin with the little tuft on the end.

Don't get me wrong though - I really like your picture.
The wings and the shading on the feathers is fantastic. :)
