I've seen that there are still many artists who prefer drawing their animal-characters in the view of side profile because the half profile can be pretty difficult to someones, so I decided to make a tutorial about drawing in that view.
I know it's in german but I think, the pictures are conceptional enough. I hope it helps a little bit.. :>

Ich bin so jemand der sich sehr schwer damit tut mit den Halbprofil xD

Gefällt mir sehr, aber ehrlich gesagt.. zeichne immer ohne diese Hilfslinien... Komm damit irgendwie nie klar. v.v

Jau, jedem das seine! Ich kann diese Hilfslinien mittlerweile gar nicht mehr missen. Nur mit ihnen bekomme ich saubere Proportionen hin. Hab sie bereits ganz früher in den Thalerwaldzeitschriften kennen gelernt und sofort genutzt. :D

Sehr schön gemacht, das Tutorial.
Hilflinien benutz ich nur in schwierigen Positionen, aber auch nicht immer. Ich radiere die auch viel weg und dann ist die Zeichnung futsch. ;-)

Ein sehr schönes tutorial vor allem ,weil es auch deinen zeichnestil sehr schön wiedergibt.ich persönlich halte beim zeichnen nichts von den hilfslinien die nutze ich nur für Gesichter um die Augenpositionen zu markieren damit die auf gleicher Höhe sind und selbst da benutze ich sie immer seltener.
Da hat wohl jeder seine eigenen Vorlieben.
